Bottoms Up: Unleashing the Retro Vibes With Midcentury Drinks

With an event name like 'Bottoms Up: A Midcentury Barware Show,' attendees can certainly expect drinks—and this event delivers on that expectation! Downtown Lancaster boasts no shortage of local watering holes, and during 'Bottoms Up,' the choices abound. From themed experiences to specialty drinks, participating businesses are pulling out all the stops in their offerings! Themed Experiences


During 'Bottoms Up,' downtown Lancaster favorite O'Huids Gaelic Pub will undergo an enchanting transformation from an Irish Pub to a Tiki Bar! Partnering with Shipwreck Shirley's, guests will be transported back to the days of the Kahiki Supper Club and Jungle Bar. O'Huids will be serving up revived cocktails, reminiscent of legendary mixes from that era! Guest bartenders will infuse the environment with island vibes and plenty of fun!

Destination Downtown Lancaster presents Retro Sips & Swirls: A Midcentury Mixology Crawl on Friday, June 21st, from 6 p to 9 p. Participants will spend the evening in downtown Lancaster, fully immersed in mid-century modern culture. Those who purchase tickets will receive an exclusive Gay Fad Studios take-home glass, 4 drink tickets redeemable for specialty cocktails at 6 participating locations, exclusive food specials, and a Bottoms Up Swag Bag. Retro Sips & Swirls Midcentury Mixology Crawl

Hometown brewery Double Edge Brewery will host Anchor Hocking Fire-King Weekend. On Friday, June 21st, the brewery will debut a new beer and serve crafted cocktails throughout the weekend. On Saturday, during the Farmers Market, cocktails and mocktails featuring ingredients from local farmers, courtesy of Keller Market House, will be available. Live music by Blake Bennet and The Ex-Bombers will accompany the festivities. Visitors can also enjoy brewery tours from 11 a to 8 p on Sunday, getting an insider's look at the brewing process!


Double Edge Brewery

Lancaster is home to a 1970s midcentury ranch owned by Joanne and Rick Savage. The couple graciously opens their home for a ticketed tour and cocktail party. Take your time walking through the home, featuring an open floor plan with a sunken living room, freestanding fireplace, built-in aquarium, and more! Guests who purchase tickets for this end-of-the-weekend event will enjoy access to the home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., two complimentary cocktails or mocktails, and hors d'oeuvres. Don't miss your chance to witness the grand reveal for the Bottoms Up 2025 kickoff event announced during this gathering!

Cocktail Locations


  • Bottom's Up Midcentury Barware Vendor Show will kick off on Friday evening from 6p-9p with a VIP Preview and Cocktail Party which includes 2 complimentary cocktails/mocktails. This VIP preview event benefits the local non-profit, Rise Up Arts Alliance. Tickets can be purchased for the VIP event on Eventbright.

  • Bob's Backyard Barbeque featuring a smoked Old Fashioned cocktail as well as local beers.

  • Bootleggers of Lancaster showcasing their signature cocktails and Mid Century cocktails all day Friday and Saturday.

  • Hereinafter Cocktail Tavern located just a short drive away from Lancaster, offering a unique cocktail experience. On Friday evening, the tavern presents a food and wine tasting event.

  • JB's Downtown Grill offering a $5 Retro Rum Punch to be enjoyed in-house or in a DORA cup.

  • Provisions Deli & Bakery offering evening cocktails and desserts during their extended hours, closing at 7 p each evening.

  • Rockside Winery & Vineyards presenting a Cranberry-tini made from their own cranberry wine. The winery's offerings will also be available.

  • Tiberio's Pizza presenting themed cocktail specials available for dine-in, carry-out, and delivery all weekend.


Mocktail Locations



  • Faux Dry Bar found in the lower level of L-City Coffee, features mocktails in its newly renovated space, exuding a sophisticated speakeasy midcentury mocktail vibe.

  • L-City offers Midcentury Modern-inspired drinks with a unique twist on your coffee experience.

  • Triple P's will feature mocktails during business hours.
