Chick-Fil-A Construction

If you haven't heard yet, Lancaster is set to receive a Chick-fil-A at the corner of Ety Rd. and North Columbus Street, on the lot (Taylor Property) where the former Ohio State Highway Patrol Post once stood, just off N Memorial Drive.

On November 27, 2024, construction crews began demolishing the former Highway Patrol building, marking the first major "physical" step toward bringing Chick-fil-A to town.

According to the Economic Development Committee of Lancaster, road construction is expected to begin soon. Discussions are underway regarding the extension of Hubbard Drive across North Columbus Street into the Taylor Property. At least one new roadway will be built through the property, though it's unclear at this stage whether additional roads will be added or if development will be limited to a single road.

Once roadwork begins, Chick-fil-A will move forward with plans to break ground and start construction on the new restaurant.

Stay tuned for further updates as more information becomes available.
